Home in Boston

As a Realtor servicing the Boston area, I take to heart the notion of being an ambassador to the communities I serve. In my mind, a Realtor should know a thing or two about the neighborhoods in which they work. After all, often times you have to sell the community before you can sell a home

And by extension, a Realtor should know about the community’s lifestyle, and have a strong sense about its character. Only then can he or she share this knowledge and experience with others who may be considering the area as a place to live and raise a family. The bottom line is that a good Realtor needs to be able to tell the story of a neighborhood—and tell it well.

This is the mission of the Isellboston blog: To tell the story of Boston’s neighborhoods as well as those of the communities surrounding Boston. As such, we will speak to the lifestyles of the different neighborhoods that comprise the Boston area, but we will also keep a keen eye on matters of real estate. This, is after, all a real estate blog.

We will dig deep into local real estate topics throughout the Boston area. We will present detailed reports on residential real estate matters which you may not find in the local news outlets, including: market dynamics and trends, zoning issues, new developments, community meetings, interest rates and their effect on the mortgage market and much more. We will do all we can to monitor and report on all things relating to residential real estate throughout the Boston area, keeping our fingers on the pulse so-to-speak, with the goal of providing you the best coverage of local real estate news and issues.

Real Estate may be a legal term, but it means so much more. It means community, lifestyle, safety, wealth, family—but most of all it means home. In our future writings we will keep this at the forefront of our efforts to provide you with honest, accurate, transparent and valuable information on issues that have an impact on where you and your family live. The place you call HOME.
