State of the Market Analysis

When meeting a client for the first time, the subject of current market conditions is often a topic of discussion. Our agents are not only well trained and educated on understanding how market dynamics affect values at the neighborhood level, but are also experts at explaining these conditions to buyers and sellers alike, simply and in plain English. As a company, it is our belief that an educated consumer is our best customer. Our perspective is that we are in a real partnership with our clients, and it is therefore critical for both sides to be able to look at the same market data and trends and draw similar conclusions as to how best to approach the market.

During our first meeting, we will review key indicators at play in the marketplace, such as average and median price, days on the market, supply of available inventory, buyer demand, list-to-sale price ratios and a variety of other factors that have direct impact on values. We will illustrate whether the market is trending up or down in a specified area as well as attempt to anticipate where the market is going. Once all the information is communicated effectively and understood by all parties, only then can we begin to have an intelligent discussion on pricing and positioning the property for sale.
